The BoX2 pro is Beijer Electronics' mid-range IIoT gateway and edge controller. Powered by an i.MX6DualLite dual-core Cortex-A9 processor running at 1.0 GHz with 1 GB RAM, it handles more demanding protocol conversion tasks, larger datasets, and heavier scripting workloads than the base model.
The BoX2 pro is certified for use in hazardous locations (UL Class I Division 2) and holds marine approvals from Lloyd's Register, ABS, Bureau Veritas, and DNV GL — making it suitable for offshore, marine, and hazardous industrial environments. The robust aluminum housing supports DIN rail or panel mounting.
