The BoX2 extreme is Beijer Electronics' flagship rugged IIoT gateway and edge controller, built for deployment in demanding outdoor, marine, hazardous, and high-vibration industrial environments. Its IP65-sealed aluminum enclosure withstands shock up to 40g and vibration up to 4g per IEC standards.
Powered by an i.MX6Quad quad-core Cortex-A9 at 1.0 GHz with 2 GB RAM, the BoX2 extreme delivers maximum processing performance for complex protocol translation and edge computing workloads. M12 connector ports provide reliable sealed connections for serial and Ethernet in wet or dirty conditions. ATEX/IECEx Zone 2/22 certification enables installation directly in hazardous areas without additional enclosures.
